In the virtual underbelly of internet bulletin boards in the 1980s a symbolic language called “L337 sp34k” was born. To some it was the death of grammar. To others it was the grammar of death to a new regime of cyber censors. The gender hacker performs the same feat
of resistance to the regime of gender, exploding a two dimensional spectrum to achieve elite status in the third dimension.
